John O'Sullivan completed his MSci degree in Natural Sciences (Physics & Molecular and Cell Biology) at University College London receiving a First Class Honours. His MSci project focused on the scalable fabrication of flexible thermoelectric 2D-Bi2Te3/CNT thin films. During his undergraduate studies, he also conducted nanoscience and biophysics research at the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg across two summer internships.
His DPhil project focuses on the manipulation of conductivity of graphene and exploring how it can be used a transparent conductor for optoelectronic devices. Outside of his research John is an avid guitarist.
